SOULAHOLICS! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. How was your Christmas? New Year? Martin Luther King's birthday? Presidents' Day? Valentine's Day, even?
There are A lot of big things going on. First of all... have you checked out my new Blog, PROJECT: Chivalry? Well, if not, you NEED to check it out. I like to call it "relationship, personal wellness & fashion tips for the sophisticated man of 2010 and beyond..." and I welcome your input and comments. Don't forget to follow PROJECT: Chivalry on Facebook & Twitter!
Also... BALTIMORE... my first performance ever in Baltimore... please come out to Eden's Lounge on Thursday, March 3rd to see me perform at the weekly Women of Power Networking Happy Hour, brought to you by Eric Stewart of E-Media. I'll be doing a special acoustic performance with my friend & singer/songwriter/producer, Ryan Hammer! You won't want to miss this.
To all my SOULAHOLICS - in case you missed the two radio interviews I did this month, I'm reposting links to the archived shows, for your listening pleasure. Join my Facebook fan page (link is above) and let me know what you think!

Happy holidays!
What's up, SOULAHOLICS! I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season.
Big things coming for 2011, and I want you to be involved. I'll be in full swing working on upcoming album projects, and I'm going to create a very special way for you... yes, YOU!... to be involved in the creative process. What I do isn't just music for listening... this is a movement and one person cannot keep a movement going. This is for all Soul Music lovers. I charge you with keeping the movement going. The songwriting, the live performances, packaging the final album product... EVERYTHING.
Now... why, after all I'm going to be doing, am I adding EVEN MORE to my basket? Who knows... I just love to keep it moving. Well, let me tell you that first, I will be featured in a fashion show for men with natural hair. Yes, the Cerece Entertainment 2nd Annual DREADFULL Fashion Show for men with dreadlocs on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 in Timonium, Maryland! I'm really excited... especially since my closet needs some help! And, to coincide with my foray into fashion, I'm also going to start a monthly video-blog discussion fashion for Black men! I mean, all we have is the jeans-and-t-shirt look, and the full-suit look? We can do better... and I'm going to talk about it! But... I need your help naming the blog. Visit my Facebook page, click the Discussions link, and post a name suggestion in the discussion. The person who submits the name I like and choose will win a special prize!
Be sure to tune into IYE Radio this Thursday, December 16th at 8:00pm - I'll be featured during a discussion on "Relationships Through Music". I'm really looking forward to it!
And don't forget - if you want to see me live, feel free to click the EVENTS link above, and then click the DEMAND IT! link at the bottom of that page to let me know where you'd like to see me in concert.
Peace, love & blessings...
Hello, everyone! Things are actually going quite well. I'm feeling the support and love from my SOULAHOLIC family! I've got a lot of things going on and I want to make sure you know about everything. First, the Everything Verses crew has invited me back to Bohemian Caverns in Washington, DC for another Wednesday Verses event on November 10th! Independent soul, hip-hop, spoken word artists... bring your willingness and your art to share, because this event is also an open mic jam session! Then, I'll be ministering in song with the incomparable David Griffiths and his International Praise Choir for another edition of their 'A Song For You' benefit concert series at 19th Street Baptist Church in Washington, DC! I'm even going to doing some radio appearances. On December 16th, I'll be talking about relationships and music on the In Your Eyes Discussion Live radio event. And of course, between all that, I'm always working on new music for my upcoming projects. I hope to see you at one of my upcoming events. And if you want to see me live, feel free to click the EVENTS link above, and then click the DEMAND IT! link at the bottom of that page to let me know where you'd like to see me in concert. Peace, love & blessings...
I have decided to take this entire movement into a totally new direction - one that's more personal. I hope you're willing to come along with me on this journey. First of all, I'm really proud of the redesign of this site. Fans, friends, family... I really need your support as I move forward with these new album projects - Balladry, The 21st Century Soul Revue, and Praise & Worship Unplugged. I plan on picking back up with the video blog as well so make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel. Some videos will be posted here, but there will be some YouTube-ONLY videos that only my loyal subscribers will be able to access, and you don't want to miss out on the fun!
